Bear in mind that current production figures for Defender makes up a very small percentage of total build, from memory current production is about 4K to 5K per year where as Disco is 185K and Freelander was about 100K per year.. This defiantly will slue the results towards the higher build models but when looked at in customer terms this is were the business is. Des
Yet another Land Rover quote Des

"Our figures say 40 percent of Land Rover customers go off-road, vs. 10 percent for all SUVs," Landre told us.

I NEVER believe statistics without checking them out first!!! I have seen all sorts of different figures but never the 95% you mentioned.....

Given the massive number of Land rover clubs and magazines etc devoted to offroading I find your figures somewhat suprising....

Just quoting what other have to say!!!

The "Stally" today known as "Stolly" - which was on the link I posted!!!

Do a search on Google and you will find plenty of mentions of BOTH names - so neither is right or wrong!!!

Bit like scONes and sCONEs I suppose - I tend to use the opposite of what the other person says just to annoy them!!!

http://www.rhel.co.uk/stallymain.htm

some great pics here!!!
