2mb Broadband, £20 per month. Bargain?

If anyone is interested, Wight Cable offers2mb broadband at £20 per month. Yes, £20 per month!

I paid for eghteen months up front, plus installation and, in addition to the extortionate price, they charged a monthly fee because I wouldn't pay by Direct Debit!

Bargain or what!

Not sure about your locality, dealwise...

Donegaldan (on here) gave me a better deal. 7Mbps down/13Mbps up, actual/uncontended speeds and he pays me a euro a day!

Beat that!

Just really p****d me off, big time.

It was all done verbally. I thought a contract was a contract!

Charging a non DD payment fee was a p*** take. They had my money for eighteen months!

Yes they do here as well - in fact they rolled out here first as the main tech centre is about 500yds from me. They are also trialling 200mb for a few lucky people - to be honest 20mb is enough to fill a terabyte drive in rapid time!!!
