10meg at last!!!

NThell may have their bad points but my connection has just been upgraded to 10mb - WOW!!!

To think a few years ago we were paying £8,000 per year for a 256kb leased line- BT wanted £12k!!!

Just taken me 1 min to download 90mb!!!

To think there are still some people on dialup - had to use it the other day - their computer took 23mins to reboot never mind anything else - drove me nuts!!!

Wish they'd do that for me! I'm on 2meg with them, having switched from Bulldog, who promised me at least 6meg a second, then when I could only get 256k told me that was all my line could support!

hrmmm, 512k adsl only here - tis what you get for being out in the sticks I suppose.... annoyingly, the BT fibre is only a few hundred metres away too.

Some of the neighbours up the road from us cannot get broadband at all, but there is now a local company doing wireless broadband at around 256kbps which is better than nothing, but not cheap I don't think.
