Just back now after a pretty tiring but great day....

Thanks to Jackeens for the organisation, bucks fizz & sticky buns, to Mark Halliday& co, Dave & Harry etc for the escort back to Portsmouth.

Great run back from Cowes and a teensy bit of a race into Portsmouth Harbour with Tombuoy finished the day nicely.

Recovery a bit dicey at Camber with a very slippy slippy, but all home safe & sound now.

Rib virgins Julia & Alan hung on in there & will no doubt come out again!!

Too tired to post any piccies ..

B&J

Great day, Middle Nasher enjoyed himself so much he even fell asleep in the car between the slip and the yard.

Sorry I shot off at the end of the day, ended up dropping Jimbo off at Gosport before returning to Hayling.
Had a fantastic run back, 25-30Knots the whole way, then ramped it up a little more on the flat bit at the end. Wasn't being unsociable I promise, just enjoying ourselves.

Thanks to all for all the help with the starting probs in Cowes, looks like I'll add a complete harness check to my list of winter jobs.
Mind you, lost a lot more antifoul today, so that jobs getting smaller.

Nashers, both big and middle,

We're back home now, absolutly shattered!

It was a great day, thanks to everyone, especially Jannet and Bill for recovering the boat for us. Saved us probably sharing our car with a lot of sea water on the way home!

A few pics before my camera battery died
