Again depending on the weather, Nashers revenge should sport a crew of 4.

Myself, the two smaller Nashers, and Ollyit.

Nasher.

Rich

Believe it or not I’ve never launched from the Camber, don’t really know why, probably something to do with avoiding driving on Pompey Island at the best of times, let alone with the boat on the back.
Us rural dwellers get a bit heated in traffic you know.

Is it useable at all states of the tide?
Also, I can’t remember how much the car park was last time I visited the Bridge Tavern on the Camber.
I presume its double for the car and trailer.

The good thing about the Ferry Inn on Hayling this time of year is the free parking if you can get in the car park beside the pub instead of the council one along the beach.

As the Camber is further from home for me than the Ferry Inn, its probably going to be cheaper for me to burn the petrol going up and down Southsea beach than pay to park at the Camber.

This is a week away now so can peole please confirm numbers if they havn't already (or say if your not coming after-all). I have given the Kings Head a rough figure of 30 but a more exact figure will help.

Hopefully the weather will be good. If it is rubish on the day (very very windy) then we will postpone although there are probably some of you who would still like to go. I'll get up early on Sunday morning and see what the weather is like in Portsmouth and post at about 7am.

The itinery will be similar to last year (I've made an educated guess as to where people will be joining, please correct me if I'm wrong):

1000: The lightship next to Haslar Marina
Tim M, Nasher, Jimbo (in UPSC1?)
1100: Calshot
BenC, Pressman, CJL, RJH
1130: Cowes (bring tea/coffe/something stronger!)
Slimtim
1300 (ish): Yarmouth for lunch at the Kings Head.
Nos4r2
1430 (ish): Leave Yarmouth in the direction of the Needles. Those who want to go round the island can carry on, the rest of us can play/take photos for a bit then return home.

I'll be up and about very early-hoping to be launched before 8am so will be leaving here at around 5am. If anyone wants to find us on the way from Cowes to Yarmouth we should be in the vicinity of 50 42' 54N 01 28' 08W (the wreck of the Margaret Smith) with the fishing rods out if it's not too rough.

I'm expecting to be there. Likely to be 2 adults + poss 2 youngsters.

All sorts of little problems sorted out lately, so hopefully we'll get a good outing at last.

Just took a look at some weather sites - varies this far out of course, but likely to be overcast with maybe some rain. Wind - anything fromn F2-F5 depending where you look!

if the weather is good then we will be there either at the light ship or calshot, not sure yet which to go for, will be 2 adults plus 2 wee ones, hence will need the weather to be reasonable for them.

We'll meet you all at Hasler.
