OK, OK, Granted I didn't explicitly name it, but I was trying to concentrate on the ones that aren't just a case of "arrive - step ashore - enjoy", as they may need a bit more forward planning. I'll be more explicit next time!

I can assusre you I have all four verisions of the Jura output in me cupboard.... well, did have until a couple of nights ago, which reminds me, I must go home via the shops today.....

Not only the Corry (The Gulf of Corryvreckan) but the Grey Dogs as well just thing to wet a thirst for a good single malt!! Dont worry there is plenty good cruising to keep your pal going. You can even plan so you go to Arbeg pick up a bottle of 'Corryvreckan' before you actually go thru it, now thats planing!

Now this is definately lightening up a Friday afternoon at work!! Whilst I would totally endorse all the suggestions so far, especially the Jura, if your time allows I would also consider popping up to Tobermory and perhaps even a little further to Talisker at Carbost on Skye, a particularly fine dram and easily accessible by sea. Used to be a nice pub close by though its a few years since I was there

O God Paul you widened it out now, this is starting to build into something epic. Its amazing what we start to dream up when the boats are high and dry for the winter, but you can't stop dreaming. All we need now is for the Donegal boys to come on and suggest we start over there!!

Whilst were on the subject, and I dont mean to thread hijack but Jura is one whisky I wont drink .. in fact I hate it .. I get all sorts of unpleasant notes from it , in particular burnt rubber So last week I had a bottle of Superstion in one hand 23 quid from Tesco (not bad Ithought) and a bottle of prophecy in the other, and I was ready to give them another go since its ages since i've tried it... but I put 'em back ... seeing as you are a fan Jambo, how different are the modern versions to the old standard 10YO ?
