Ahh, thats it jinxed Now we all know who to blame if it is chucking it down

Getting the details sorted now mean that I get to relax on Sunday, get all the stuff organised before the trip down to the little bits and bobs, make sure everyone knows the details and then on the day I can relax as everything hopefully runs smoothly and have some fun myself. Learnt organising dive trips to some weird and wonderful places based on the rule of the 6 P's
There will be a post on Friday/Sat with ALL the details in it and I will bring copies to give to everyone on the day when we meet.
Is there anyone who minds If I put their name, MMSI, boat and mobile number on this sheet handed out on the day?
If you don't want any of this given out to the folk coming let me know otherwise all these details garnered this week will be on the sheet to make sure we can get in touch and know who is who.

I didn't say Glasgow, I said Govan
I worked there for many years on the Underground at Broomloan road, many is the time we had bottles, bricks and even shot at with air rifles while working on the signals in the yard. They even managed to steal 600v track feeder cables while they were live!
I am going to make sure I am at the front going past as I reckon if I go fast enough they will have had time to "tool up" and will be aiming at the slowcoaches at the rear
Either that or make sure someone else is between me and the land. It might be fun, everyone there all going as fast as possible past Govan and the same time all trying to hide behind each other to make someone else the "target"
By the way, before anybody takes this seriously, I am only joking kinda!

Clyde RIB Raid

OK guys, final plan barring problems-
Schedule-
Meeting Kip just outside the entrance at 10:30am on Sunday 7th.
Leave approx 10:45 to allow for stragglers and saying hello.
travel up Clyde picking up anybody on the way, will be arranged with those folk as far as
times and meeting points are concerned.
Arrive at City centre and have a looksee.
Arrive back down river at Braehead approx 12:00-12:30 and berth on pontoon.
Pay to get into museum if wanted (optional), go for lunch at the various food places inside
and outside Braehead.
Approx 13:00-14:00 leave Braehead and travel downriver splitting up as we go to various
recovery points on river.
Pontoon use is kind of free, we have been asked for a "small" donation which may consist of enough folk going to the museum or in the worst case a quid or so a skull. Museum can be accessed half price in any case with printed voucher.

Waypoints-
KIP 55, 54.607 N, 004, 53.136 W meeting point at kip.
DUMBARTON 55, 55.998 N, 004, 34.311 W meeting point off Dumbarton
PONTOON 55, 52.549 N, 004, 21.604 W Braehead pontoon

Ralph “9D280”
Doug “dougrock”
Graeme “GC1”
Vivienne “Pinto”
Iain “IBWET”
Margot “Margot H”
Murray “Bigmuz7”
Kim “K&S”

Weather-
As of 05/09/08 forecast 7knt NE sunny 16C, High coming in to be over Scotland by 12:00 Sunday, whoopee!

Tides-
Glasgow centre LW 11:41 BST HW 18:06 BST

Contacts-
Clydeport Working channels on day
Channel 12 Channels 12 and 16. 67 if tri-watch available on radio
01475 726221

I have a pile of this info and more printed out and made up to email to anyone that wants a printed copy to laminate. Will have spare unlaminated copies on the day.
Drop me a PM with an email address and I'll forward it on. I also have all the contact info but don't want to type this out several times in PM's or post publicly, drop me an email address again if you want a copy.
Now I can go and get the RIB ready and fueled and relax and enjoy the trip myself
Cheers
Bruce
