I have used that slip Peter, no problems, but at low tied you do have to drive on to the river bank! But we had no problem with 2 wheel drive car!
Parked on the top of slip, not blocking it with trailer attached!

Room for any more ?

If the logistics are not problematical ( car & trailer parking space ) , can we come along as well ?

Please feel free to come along!!

It really is a case of the more the merrier!

I will need to sort out the pontoon at Canary Wharf officially but they seem open a small fee so we can do some ferrying on to the pontoon from the moorings downstream!

Chris

PS Here is a pic to keep you waiting in anticipation!

Sorry to hear about your engine problems there mate. I'm sure we can do this again at some point soon!

Have you seen the thread that Timw has started about Bonfire Night? A bit later so you may be sorted in time?

Hope everybody else is still interested, please post if you have to drop out!

So far then I've got;

1) Me on Northern Exposure III
2) Laurence on Barrier II
3) Paul Beaurain on Marikh
4) Bern Hanreck on La Bamba
5) The Edges on fujimo
6) Timw on Snapper
7) Osprey__viper on Key Mar
8) Myndit on Ribbit
9) Yuley on Whale Oil Beef
10) Janet and Bill on Juno

and possibly Peter J on Eigth Child

Please confirm either way if you are going to come ASAP as I was thinking about booking some tables for us to eat (its a gastro type pub so they do a bit of everything) and some moorings at Canary Wharf (fingers crossed).

Wow!

Sorry Chris for not contributing to this earlier, but been a bit busy walking around Derbyshire with screaming mad kids rather than planning a decent boat trip!

Here are a few pics folks of our most recent trip down river ! Northern Exposure and Barrier II Pictured! Thanks to Pac Dreams (Richard) for the camera and the lovely Amanda for taking the pictures

Really looking forward to Saturday now!

No problem at Petersham, plenty of room to turn and free parking all day.

Putney Bridge Slip

What time are we planning to meet at Putney Slip?

What are the tide times for Saturday?

Question for anyone from London....

I'm planning to come along the embankment / millbank (route I'm familiar with) but I understand Parliament square might be closed for roadworks.
Whats the current situation?

Cheers
Scott
