As we go along with this we'll develop a passage plan and plan the stops!

At this stage we're all making sure we've got time off work etc.

There's time to get paperwork in order and liaise but it's great that some experienced top peeps are coming along,

Many thanks,

Us

Will you be visiting Guernsey on the route ? If you are and I am around would be happy to meet up.

Now that's a lovely invitation. Thanks Alan

The route is certainly still in the planning stages !

It would be great to visit Guernsey and we have a special invite to Jersey as well so we'd best get organising.

Plan to visit a Ribbing Guru this weekend to get some good advice!

Very welcome.

If you do come via Guernsey you should visit Herm Island. Only 3 miles away and great beaches and a great pub for lunch.

Agree you should visit the big Island (Jersey) and then come and see the best......

what have I started.

Thanks Alan.

We might just get round to all of them.

We're sure each island has its unique beauty and features

Sark is also worth a visit whilst your kicking around!

By the time you've finished you'll need 6 weeks holiday!!

I'll come out and say hello if I'm around at that time and show you a couple of rocks you need to watch out for going through Percee Passage in between Jethou and Pt Sauzebourge on Herm. Tinker is one and I can't think what the other one is called but they lie opposite to each other a couple of hundred meters apart.

It is a little "Tinker" as well! It sits just below the surface and isn't marked. Quite a few boats give it a nudge during the summer months!!

Anyhoo sounds like you'll have a cracking weeks ribbing!

Good guess Mark...but it was closer to our eventual destination near the Barrage d'Arzal in Southern Brittany.

Had a fantastic trip with Anto (Happy Birthday!) and Martin and Pete 7 (many thanks for the excellent company) and having made it all the way to Southern Brittany, lingered on there sans internet 'till yesterday. Great cruising spot. Trailered Merlin back this morning. We'll post some photos soon.

Nice to meet Charles again and had a surprise phonecall from gArf somewhere in the middle of Brittany (he gets everywhere ).
