Thursday 8th April - Evening drink ?

Weather dependant I am going to Yarmouth for a drink the evening of 8th April.

Clearly it will be dark when I leave Yarmouth but wondered if anyone wanted to head over for a trip out in daylight & back the dark ? .

Really just an excuse to get used to night boating again

Couple of spare seats on the boat - or bring your own?

Have you had any takers on this as yet Pete?
I've not done any night Ribbing, so may take you up on the offer of a seat on yours. Would you be starting and ending in Christchurch?
Any idea on likely timings as yet as I'd be driving down from Crowthorne?

Hi Trevor, one seat left which is yours if you want it.

I'll be leaving from Christchurch about 5.45/6.00 from the slipway near the Captains club hotel. More than welcome to come along .

Weather looks to be improving with gentle northerly wind - meaning a nice smooth trip & no large waves to catch me out in the dark !

Pete

Hi Pete
Unless anything has changed - yes please for the offer of the seat. I'll aim at being at the slipway by 5.45. Were you intending to eat in Yarmouth or should I bring sandwiches?

Great stuff. I'll probably get something to eat there. Had one drop out so another vacant seat going.

looks like its going to be a lovely evening for it!!

if this morning was anything to go by, the solent was flat as a flat thing and glimmering in the sun!!

Cant make it out tonight as have people over but hope to be out this weekend. If anyone is over at Osborne Bay this weekend, watch out for us, we will be happy to say hi but will have someone swimming beside us (training for a Triathlon) and dont want to chop him up!!
