Well looks like RIBs will be given a showing at the "Thunderboat" races held here in San Diego this weekend.
Two of us are official safety boats which means we are given two scuba divers and positioned just off the race course ,,as first responders.
The divers are there to release the driver and supply first aid until the main rescue craft get there.
Had to go for training today and then the events run friday through sunday.
My boat will be the smaller of the two with the other being the 24' Northwind.
It is being televised nationaly on the outdoor chanel here, so not sure if you may get it on Skye
