Nacho Run Part 1

David, thanks for organising a very pleasant run out. It was a shame that we had to leave the Wheatsheaf, but the fading light is something none of us could do anything about!
Scurvy Crew, don't worry, it seems to have been the day for abrupt throttle openings - I nearly did the same to Andy!!
The Solent was in a good mood today, flat calm almost boring Andy had to go looking for stern waves to get some vertical action.
Thanks all, hopefully see you out on the water sometime soon.
Oh, and the Nachos were good

Yarrr I be eatin Nachos!!!

Wow, what a great day, left home at 08:00 and had a ribbers breakfast (Sausage and egg McMuffin)

Got to David's about 10 ish and had a cup of tea before setting off.

Had a great day out and took the helm on two occasions for quite a few miles

Took some video on the camera, we nearly go overboard about 15 sec in and at the end of the video you can just about make out the bank of sand near the Needles.

Great Rib, great company and great food!

Got back about 19:10

Thanks again David for your hospitality

Thanks Ian!

Top bloke for offering me a space and letting have a go at the helm of Jianna. Hope I was more of a help than a hindrance. Twas a little flat out there, but there were some cruisers out there to have a little fun off the back of. I did manage to stand Jianna on her side during one turn, Ian's face was a picture

Was nice to see David again, pleasure meeting his Son (best of luck with the Gig scene this year) and also a new face in Whisper (keep us informed on your Seariders).

Thanks for some good company.

It's looks like you had a good a day, I did look out for Grimalkin on the way to the Needles @ 11.30 but must have missed you (probably the sun in my eyes).

The waves were breaking over the bar so the guys decided to go and play. Hope the weather holds for everyone today.

Ian and I were out around the Needles at about 11:30, must of just missed each other. Grimalkin and her crew were a little later.

Great picture of standing on the Shingles Bank ! I scared myself senseless once on my Seadoo over there !

Anyway , back safe - the only casualty being the white nav light which didn't like the rough weather at all......

Good to catch up with all again

Pete

Sorry to have missed the jet-skiers: we were about 45 mins later to arrive in Yarmouth for 12.30. No repeat of yesterday's engine problems but the radio has started playing up and my attempts to mend its random beeping and changing of channels have only made it worse!

Nice to meet up with everyone successfully, however, and to get up to date on everyone's news.

Here's a few pictures from inside the pub:
