Here are some photos taken from Bryher this May
The first photo is just down from the jetty between Bryher and Tresco.
The other two are on the NW corner open to the Atlantic swell.

Trying to decide whether the wife and I can come.

Kids being left with grand parents is an option.

Then the slog down and back from Macclesfield.

Not sure if I fancy the blast round from Plymouth, or if I have the time.

Is it possible to come (or not) last minute or is that tricky camping etc?

Should add the Isles look fantastic and somewhere we've always wanted to go, especially under ones own steam, so to speak.

I hope it's not like this on the 26th July!!
These photos were taken on the North coast of Cornwall. They show a 6-9ft breaking waves with a 14ft open bay swell.

Ok, the plan has changed a little as there has been a few developments....

25th Drive to a certain ribnet members home, park the boats up and rough camp in the barn

26th breakfast on route while driving the rest of the way to Penzance (about 2 hours) with an aim to launch by around 10:30 with an RV time of 11am to meet with the bigger boats travelling by sea, rib to The Isles of Silly, pitch tents and dinner out.

27th A day cruising, photos with dolphins, petting seals etc, dinner out again.

28th Breakfast, pack up, head back to Penzance, recover, lunch, drive home.

No chance, try nearer 4 hours.

AA route finder calculates Taunton to PZ at 2hrs 57mins, that's at 70mph for most of the stretch.

The weather for next week looks promising.

Whisper which RIB you taking ?

Taunton PZ is a good 4 hours. It's 95 miles from Plymouth on mostly single carriageway.
