Thanks for that Jono..... That takes care of the registration then.....!!!

Do take a look at the Boatlaunch entry though.... It paints it as a difficult slip with "very limited parking", only on grass verges etc. Can you confirm this is the same slip you are talking about. Perhaps its been upgraged?

Here's a photo for reference.... (c) Boatlaunch.co.uk

Hi Mike

Thats the slip, not been upgraded though. We use it all the time.

great angle! Parking just in Portdaniel boatyard - www.porthdaniel.com about £5 and only 50 yards walk, also got diesel.

Rons slipway is gravel and on to open fast moving water, not great in my opinion.

If youve not been on the straits before check this out - http://www.caernarfonharbour.co.uk/

you can do the straits at anytime in rib however in yacht only swellies at slack water

Jono

Thanks Jono.... Rang Porthdaniel, so all clearer in my mind now. May well do something there on the Monday if we don't over the RibNet weekend!

Hope there will be others who can spend the extra day too!

Hi everyone, just warning you to fill up with petrol before you arrive, or else we'll all be waiting for ages, and it will be chaos at the pump. just a tip.

Thanks cya there.

.........It's bloody good advise. The last time I attended a "Cruise" several nobbers pitched up without fuel and kept all us "better prepared" nobbers waiting for over 30 minutes (you know who you were).

I will be extremely vocal if I'm kept waiting again.............

Cigars, flick knives, alcohol........sounds to me more like a Customs & Excise raid than a break-in
