Some pics of the launching site at Putney taken today as i happened to be working near by.
There seems to be plenty of parking right up at the end of the cul-de-sac road, but is permit holders only before 10.30 am

Thanks Simon,

I've been meaning to get down there this week to double check things. If you look on the fifth photo, with the road on the right hand side of the water, there is "parking for trailers and towing vehicles" all the way down there. I am hoping to reserve the lot by getting down there early. The end of the culdesac I am aware its permit holders only and this is going to be a last resort if all else fails.

Chris

Chris

Do you mean the 4th pic above?
The parking on the right hand side infront of the rowing clubs?
The sign in the attached photo below is governing this parking. Does this mean only towing vehicles with trailers can park here between mon-fri between 9.30-10.30 am?
Seems daft!
So is there no restrictions on saturday?
Parking in these bays will be blocking the entrances to the rowing clubs?
Have you parked in these bays before?

Yes
Yes
Yes I think so
Yes it is daft
That my understanding
Yes if you park your trailer in a stupid place it will block the rowing club so we'll need to be careful
Nope. I tend to leave the trailer at Chas Newens on the double yellows and park the car at the top of the road near the park. Never had any problems!

I think this last option isn't really sensible for 12 trailers so that's why I was suggesting the trailer bay.

Sorry Chris, but I can't make it now, unavoidable sadly.

Might come out for first leg on Sat morning, and I'll be out Sat evening on the river if any stragglers left buzzing around
