I am going to give this one a go. It will be my first BIBOA event. Anyone else on here going? Brian said there are about 12 boats so far. I am going to launch on the friday ready for the sat morning.

Anyone done it before? I have never been along the de-ristricted part of the Thames before so should be a good experience!

Weather looks good so far.

Hi huys,

Hope you have a good time this weekend - it's a shame i can't make it, i'm sailing in a big event.

I went up the Thames Monday and Tuesday this week (from Ramsgate) and i must say it's one of the best cruises i have ever done - loads to see, superb landmarks, and the bit through central London is like a Motorway.

I'm also pleased to announce that i acheived 42 knts combined with prop-air whilst going under the Millenium Bridge much to the delight of the people walking over it!

See description in Gallery section shortly for a few pic's of what to expect

Have a good one,

Daniel

Excellent cruise!

Thames cruise was brilliant. 12 boats, brilliant sunshine. Highlights included locking into St Kats for lunch, London in the sunshine and an exciting ride back in wind over tide on Sunday.
No injuries but one nasty stuffing on Sunday that proved that the Thames Estuary in wind against tide is a place to be treated with caution.

Some photos to follow (from me at least). Big thanks to Chris Hinson for our ride for the weekend.

And I want to know who this other bloke called Brian is?
You mean there are two of us?
Very worrying.
