I'm still planning on chucking the boat in at Largs tomorrow at around 10, although with the new M74 that may turn out to be a pessimistic guess!

As the above discussions are hinting that there's not a lot happening, Parade of Sail notwithstanding I may head back via a round trip of Bute. If I am spectacularly early at Largs I may take in a lap of Cumbrae on the way upriver as well.....

Anyone else off tomorrow?

yup, my boat is in at kip right now. i'm heading out to the parade of sail tomorrow.

FYI the slipway at kip if you get the tide right is perfect for launch if you prefer. it is 10 quid in and 10 quid out if that is any use to you.

i'll pm you my mobile number to get in touch.

cheers

I'm still running in so the extra miles from Largs won't go amiss!

(Hence the extra laps of various islands as well.....)

What time do the ships leave Greenock please?
May try and catch them rounding Arran.

Absolutely. Shame more of them didn't bother with the pretence of sailing & put some more canvas up.... We didn't get much further south than the Wee Cumbrae (fuel reserve concerns on an engine of as yet unknown thirst), but from there we saw one heading up Loch Fyne, presumably aiming for the canal. Any idea which one?

Now where did I put that after sun cream?

Saw one making a break for Loch Fyne but way too far to see clearly.
Yes I expected more sails which would have made a better sight.
