Great photos. Sorry to hear you got some damage. We only had minor stuff but I ache all over after that trip back down river.
I have loads of photos and videos of everyone and some clips of you getting air time going up river. I will get them posted tomorrow.
Cheers

Hi everyone,
Sorry we missed the trip up river, we were looking forward to it. But two days before we were going to come up we had a bit of a problem, someone decided that after drinking a few pints it would be a good idea to get behind the wheel of a four ton van (with the obvious outcome) both my wife and I had a stay in hospital. We were not too badly hurt but the car was totaled. If this run is going to be an anual event we will definately be up for it next year.

Sorry to hear that. At least you are here to tell the tale. Cars are replaceable.

I finally managed to get my camera and computer in the same room - here's a few from the trip upriver:

One of each Rib, and the last is the wait in the River Carron for the Canal boats - most sounders were showing 1m or so!

If anyone wants a pic or three (full size) of their rib, let me know by PM.

A few more from further upriver:

1) Forth & Clyde Canal Soc's "Maryhill" passing the old railway swing bridge at Alloa
2) "Ratho Princess" further upriver with dignitaries onboard
3) Most of the fleet in view - being waved at from the footbridge in Stirling
4) There are boats lurking behind that grass Wallace Monument in the background
5) 100 Yds form the tidal limit. (then my battery died!)
