Finally got confirmation from the Fuchsia that we're in. Hope the rest of the service is faster....!

Mrs W's been lumbered with the dog and she's not happy but apart from that, looking forward to it.

Just gotta sort out some decent weather now...

Have a good trip guys!

St Vaast is a great place, these pics were taken last May on our maiden voyage en foreign. Lunch lasted longer than the trip back to Poole, always a good sign

Regards.

Ian.

Behind the blue trawler is the venue for Saturday's meal "Cafe Du Port".

Behind the scenes there are now a few boats making the trip so it should be a great weekend.

All we need now is good weather!

Cheers

Mark

What, do you mean I won't have to put me factor 4 on for the trip.

What ever it is will blow through!

Where are you guys planning on launching?

Can anyone suggest the best place to launch, with parking for car and trailer in poole harbour?

Also where about are we meeting before setting off?

Thanks, David and Harry.

Don't know what incantations you are using Mark, but they seem to be working. Keep 'em up.

Looks like a small high in the Bay of Biscay on Saturday should make for an ok crossing. There is a low out in the Atlantic moving east and will be with us on Monday afternoon.

I believe the plan is to return early on Monday so we will be fine.

See you in the Channel Bar then!

Mark
