Ah yes, the one that was in Howards Way. Nice pub - not the cheapest, but quality fayre and decent ales. Not full tidal access - but the pontoon does make life convenient, and is free (I believe!) for patrons.

Tide times for Pompey

Mon 23rd Apr 2007 - Portsmouth

03:02 4.17m HW 08:31 1.30m LW
16:01 4.07m HW 21:05 1.70m LW

Also a rather large cruise ship arriving Sarfhampton on Sunday so if she doesn't sail that evening may be around.

I'll be up for the cruise if some kind soul will offer me a lift

I start my new job on Monday and have my birthday on Tuesday so should have something to celebrate!

I was under the impression we were doing an evening hit as well, I'm working during the day!

Spare seats on Sidewinder if anyone wants a lift (although Nauti Ferries is a better ride )

Shame the tides really preclude Wotton or Ryde. Why not head into Chi harbour for something new?

Unfortunately I will not be able to make this one.

I'm visiting a supplier in Bordeaux and being entertained by a Hungarian lady and her Croatian friend!

Best not to let the Missus know Nasher

Best of luck with the trip though.

Was doing my final checkover of the boat and trailer today and found that a grease seal on one of the wheel bearings has seperated from the bearing so will have to change it So I will have to drop out of tomorrows trip, which is a real bummer as it was to be my last trip on Hyde-Away before she goes up for sale

So what's the plan then

All I know is that I have,

Paul & Kathleen
Robin & Jill
Tony - (I think)
Ageing Youth and Froglover
Andy Hightower

on board so are we going anywhere or a bimble down to the lightship?

I'm up for anything monday night - Sidewinder hasn't been operational for long so it would be good to do a bit of ribbing in company, even if we just go for a play outside Pompey harbour and I persuade one of Nauti's Crew to get some piccies, followed by grub/bevvies in the Lightship.

Would go further afield if people want to though!
