Southampton to Poole Sat 3rd Oct

I'll be out on a run from Southampton Dry Stack to Poole (and back) tomorrow - meeting up with Mike D in Watershed off Lymington at about 11.30.

If anyone wants to joint us or meet along the way they are most welcome.
Probably on VHF Ch 72 (as Ch 8 was very congested last week).

Aiming to lunch in the Poole area somewhere, but no firm plans at the moment.

We'll be on the water in about two/three hours time - will call you up and see if you are still around. I can recommend the paella for four people at Lake Yard for lunch (nice burgers too). We plan to ski somewhere late afternoon until dusk.

It was a bit colder today than expected - the sun only shone on Poole for about an hour as we sat having lunch at Banana Wharf in Poole!
Met up with Superfly (Ribnet's cfg) at Banana Wharf for a natter.
Still - it was nice and flat. 89 miles covered, 4 Hours 20 mins cruising time - including a scenic tour around Poole Harbour at 6 Kts.
