Tony , Hiya . If the dates and the weather were good I'd come . We have stayed at Neyland a few times , and cruised from Tenby to Fishguard and out to Grassholm and the Smalls. It is glorious cruising around there ( when the sea isn't too lumpy and it certainly can get lumpy ).

hi bern
going down west for a few days next week, most of the time launch at dale, but neyland is good they have a great slip at the yacht club, you can launch/recover with no probs anytime, fuel is available at neyland marina, and also plenty of places to camp if needed.you can also go up the river cledau for a good few miles.will have a good buzz round and report back, might be worth speaking to nyc re parking and trailers they also have a hostel thats not expensive best wishes tony

Update the post when you're ready for it - I'm just down the road and would like to meet up for a bit of a spin. Neyland or Pemb Dock are good to launch from as it's a bit of a spin down to Dale - nice pub though

Tony , There's diesel but no petrol at Neyland . I think you can still get petrol on the waterside at Lawrenny , a bit further upstream , but not at low tides !
Jono Garten organised a bash from there last year I believe so he'll know . Also our " man on the spot " Alex Brown can give you good advice if you have specific questions . Come in Alex !

Petrol stations at Pembroke Dock aren't far from the Hobbs Point pontoon if you are desperate/know someone who can do a shuttle run with cans in the boot of the car.
