If everyone could let me know tonight if they intend to come, can you please let me know so I can print a list out and we can wait for anybody that might be a little late.

You can PM me you mobile numbers if you want and I'll phone before leaving any of the RV points.

Where are you then?, mind you that said I was in the sea yesterday in Portsmouth harbour up to my shoulders, fully clothed for about half and hour and I was surprised how warm it was.

Just come in from work-As Biggles said, I'd prefer Sunday. Poole isn't very nice in a south-westerly.
I'll have trouble launching and retrieving at Baiter in a SW wind too-there'll be waves breaking over my trailer. The slip is very shallow and you have to launch with it pushed 30' out.

We can only make Saturday and will be out whatever. Will be out on the boat tonight and will check internet around midnight for the decision. The weather looks pretty good for both days bearing in mind the time of year, but remember it gets dark earlier on Sun. Nos4r2 you can use the slip at Cobbs Key marina which is completely sheltered.

No wind in Poole at the moment. Forecast for weekend:

24 hour forecast:
Wind Variable 3 becoming southwest 4 or 5.
Weather Occasional rain.
Visibility Moderate or good.
Sea State Slight to moderate.
Outlook for the following 24 hours:
Wind Southwest 4 or 5 becoming variable 3.
Weather Occasional rain.
Visibility Moderate or good.
Sea State Slight to moderate.

I will be out both days regardless so can fit in with any plan.

If the Poole Blast is delayed until Sunday, anyone still going out on Saturday who wants some company please get in touch.

Andy

To be honest I'd still rather do Sunday-Cobbs Quay is bloody expensive and a complete pain to get in and out of the carpark through the barrier.

Cobbs Tariff:-

Slipway
Use of slipway (self launch/recover):
includes car & trailer parking
Annual pass: £390
Daily: £40
Barrier pass: £10

Baiter is £8 inc harbour dues. Harbour dues are extra at Cobbs Quay.
