Solent today 29/3

Anyone else out today in the Solent apart from 1 boat I was sure I recognised the name of .............(adams1x - Weird Fish - very very smart - my 'crew' & I were very impressed in Cowes). We were the ones making a hash of mooring in front of you - (well I blame the crew wanting helm 'experience' after doing his PB2 a few weeks ago)

Went up to the Folly for the first time this year . Fantastic out there - calm clear - quiet . 1st Rate day .....

Yes, was out fishing. Was flat calm at the start but about 1pm the cloud came over the wind started to blow and it got very cold. Cold enough to put ones floatation suit on. Only one plaice caught onboard and not many other people catching either.

Yes, we were out. Took the in-laws out for their first rib experience so we did a 'Would you like to go to the IoW for lunch?' trip.

Went over to Cowes and there were a couple of nice ribs moored up at Town Quay as we went past but we had a table at the Folly so didn't stop.

A bigger rib (Predator??? or something like that flying a Jolly Roger) rafted up along side us at the Folly but we slipped out before they returned.

We had a great trip a couple of weeks back - Lulworth Cove for lunch and then to Durdle Door. Weather has been kind so far if a bit cool - looking forward to a warmer period.

I see - I nearly ended up alongside you & yes it was a Predator next to you . I dived on the other end outside the bigger ' taxi' . As usual every table in thier was reserved , but again they came up trumps found me & my mate a tabel inside & dished up decent food nicen fast !

I guess it mat have been me & Adam at town quay you saw.

Wish I was back sat in the pub over there today !
