Solent to Alderney/Guernsey - Weekend 27/28 October 2007

After the stress of the rugby :-( just wondered if anyone was up for a run across the water weekend of the 27/28th Oct subject to our extended summer continuing. No master plan as yet but would do overnight stay. Understand short notice but see how we go.

If we're visitor-free we'll dig out Merlin Phil.

Like the 'subject to decent weather' clause

Phil,

Yup, away in France tomorrow till Thursday night... so will log back on then.

Just looked at the weekend prediction on ecmwf and the isobars look quite wide and possibly OK.... but on the other hand, GB Wind Map says 25 mph easterlies!!!

So anything is possible..... Will need to be 4 or less for me. Don't like bumps!

K & P, cancel all visitors, it would be great to do another trip with you guys, may even be less dramatic than the last one :-) only just got Stuart back in the boat the other weekend.
