Hello again Tim - many thanks for the PM.

Firstly, the Weather forecast from Solent Coasty went like this:
************************************************** *******
2x strong wind warnings in force, mainly concerning us was: W-NW F7 and valid up to 06:00 on Sat 12th March.

The 24hr forecast: NW 5 or 6, Showers, Wind decreasing to F3 on Saturday afternoon, Weather fair, Visibility GOOD and Sea-State = Moderate-Rough, decreasing later Smooth-Slight.

Local WX. conditions at Lee-on-Solent @ 16:00 -
Westerly F7 with gusts to F8, Sea State Mod/Rough, 10 miles vizibility.

************************************************** *******

Looks like it will be dying down by the morning and then hopefully even nicer conditions for later in the afternoon !
Hope this is of help to a few of those that are travelling long distances and especially those that are RIBBING-it along the M25 - LOL

Tim - i will give you a ring soon - thx John.

Weather

I'll be coming tomorrow, whatever the weather. However it looks like it will be ok.

Sitting in Hamble the wind has just dropped and the sky cleared.

This is the prediction for tomorrow:

See you all at Calshot at 1130.

Hi everyone - should the need arise, or if a courtesy visit into Cowes is on the cards, then i have it on good authority to let you all know that Kevin of Kevin Mole Outboards has invited you to drop in for a coffee / break and are more than happy to accommodate a visit by you all......... see map:

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.sr...rch.srf&dn=823

and closer at:

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.sr...rch.srf&dn=823

High tide is just after mid-day, so there should be no problems with mooring up at the adjoining pontoons to Kevin's place.

Hope this is of some help on the day?

John.
