I've got some thermal undies - and there's no point in having the equipment if you don't use it (as the bishop said....!).

It's the rain I can't stand but with no forcast for that, I don't mind the cold or the wind.

I can't manage Friday but would be up for Saturday. It would be good to meet up. Any suggestions?

David

We're out saturday... meet up for lunch in Cowes anyone, either by the Redjet terminal or down to Folly? After that who knows, have a look at the weather maybe have a blast around the island?!

We're in Lymington, I think Roguewave is, where are other people based?

Well anyway, we'll be leaving at about 11.30/12 I think... although of course that'll end up meaning actually starting moving more around 12.30...

Shall we say 1.30 meet up off Egypt Point? Or the Shrape if its a bit too bumpy to be waiting for people...

Channel 77, we'll be out, names Farfetched, give us a buzz

Josh

Thermal undies? Noooo too restricting, a decent set of mustos and a few layers... and a chemical heat pack

Apologies Chris and anyone else who paid attention to that, we will now not be out, due to me fogetting Haven Quay in Lymington is shut on weekends during the winter and therefore the boat is stuck on the racks, should have put it in today....

Feel a liiiiiitle bit silly now... :S

Sorry guys,

Josh

Took some of the family out today, brilliant weather, past the needles was pcked witha mix of commerical and plesure fishers, and the sea was literally flat, we went on the plane and sat there not even vibrating, one of the first times ive felt comfortable sitting down whilst helming...

Also took her out later on with dad in the dark and it was perfect for practicing night navigation! Bit cold in rubber Gill wellies though, I need dubarrys

Am very jealous !- my big boat is out of the water & 'stored' - prop off etc , and even getting out of Christchurch wthout the channel marked can be interesting / expensive when you hit the bottom !

Christchurch to anywhere in a 4m boat is not an enjoyable experiance in anything but the best/ hottest summer weather.
