Solent - Friday Oct 3rd

We're off chasing the autumn sun on Friday. So far, we've assembled a party of three boats, and p'raps we'll go around the IOW. Fast-ish run, good lunch and chill out! We're carrying on over the weekend as well and doing the BIBOA Weymouth cruise.

So, whether you're doing the BIBOA thing or not, give us a shout if you can make Friday.

Me and a mate of mine were thinking about taking the boat out for a blast on Friday.

launching from Hayling Island at around mid morning I guess.

Depends on the weather as we will be driving down from London and won't bother if it looks bad.

How do we find out where you are?

Can you drop me an itinerary too please Richard. Iím hoping to get down for a days jaunt on Friday too.
With Ageing Youth and possibly Andre around there could be a mini meet if times fit in! Donít think Iíll chase you round the Island though Ė never keep up with you!

Working at the weekend though so canít make Weymouth alas!

I am thinking of heading for the Solent on Friday.
Are you planning to go round the Island clockwise . What would your ETA be at Nab Tower

Perhaps you could also email me itinerary as well

Any news on the weather for Weymouth

Andre

Andre, we plan to launch at Southampton at 10:30 so perhaps be out at the Nab tower for about 11:30? Then if we cover the 35nm to Yarmouth in 2 hrs we can be in the Bugle or Wheatsheaf by 13:30 - otherwise we're relegated to the cafe if we're late!

Oh, yes we are planning to go round clockwise.

Sorry Chas - didn't realise you were so touchy about your name.
Looking forward to meeting you one day - are you going to Weymouth?
