Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have registered interest so soon...!

But the Ribtec tubes are well worn, so if I did end up being against the wall, it wouldn't really make any difference!

A quick Google Earth and it looks like an interesting place, so hopefully I will make it.

Any suggestions on timings/meeting place?

Shall we say 11:30 near the RNLI buoy just off calshot castle.

I've never been to the sloop so we will have to take advice from AJ and Trev on mooring.

If we have any problems inc weather etc our plan B will be Cowes

Hi mate, no this is just one of our normal meet up, get out and have lunch cruises, we do several of these every year.

Anyone is welcome to come but please let us know you are coming.

We will just cross the Solent so nothing too heavy

Plenty of room for mooring - especially if any bigger boats go in 1st. As it's high-ish tide over lunch we should be able to nose right up to the wall without the danger of drying out.

This is how we did it a few years ago on the 2011 Biboa Easter Cruise....

11:30 at Calshot (or somewhere central Solent) should be good for me, gives me time to put in a few litres of diesel first!

You could always start from SDS and have a drive of Blue Ray (- another £5 for MacMillan!)

Maybe even do Andre's as well!

Trev
