Bubble & Squeak

Just spoke to Caroline (Squeak) & Steve (BBQ King 11)-(London Bubble).
Typical Cockney...I was thanking Steve effusively for all his help with the BBQ and he asked me where he would send the invoice & How we would like to pay!!!! They thought Suz. Pete was like Johnny Rotten & liked that he was a gunners geeza...

Caroline enjoyed meeting you all...however we need to explain that Steve is not usually allowed in the house although we allow him to run up and down the deck and think it's so cute when he bangs on the window for food

Caroline made the fab spanakopita ... for an Irishwoman she does some mean Greek food...

Missus

Found a recipe!!!!
http://www.eco-natural.com/recipes/spanakopita.html

Interesting fact about the salt recommended...the salt gatherers don't have loos where they work so it's extra salty In fact it might be worth giving it a wash first

Still awake......just!

What a brill weekend, all due to Paul and his Missus. Hospitality second to none, again.
Great to meet all those at the BBQ and out on the water. Sorry we missed Searider.
Look forward to returning the hospitality in the near future.

Well, top-banana and i have been back in Margate for about an hour... not that it took me 24hours to drive 200 miles you understand, but never-the-less we both need a rest after a superb but exhausting weekend.

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone in the whole world for their bit...and appolgise to the Jackeens for having nothing to do with the preperation, cooking or clearing up at their superb gaff!!!

I met JK, he does exsist!

I became an honoury NWRibster (when do i get the pin badge for my dry suit?) and won an award for not only NOT holding on in frightening sea conditions, but managing to capture some video aswell - more on that later, i've a few hours work to do here first.

Oh, and the critical staistics Missus missed out is:

Time top-banana spent in water: 10%
Time top-banana spent in air: 90%
Average time period between hearing the prop: 10secs

Daniel...no expectation of help at all...we only gave Suzuki Pete the hoover cos he's hyperactive!!!!! And houseguests always chip in at the shebeen (they tend to feel sorry for us). I'm sure Timmy had ye polishing his beer bottles for him in Soton!!!!Everyone noted you 3 as very sociable chaps. Thanks for fitting in so well.

Amazing to see Top Banana in action...more airtime than Ozzy Osbourne...will add vital stats to our records!!!

Most importantly...glad to see ye all home safe...

only if i had any beer!!!

i think we're both lucky that i don't drink, i am coz it would cost me a small fortune having Dan round drinking and secondly, coz it would be me clearing up his leftovers of the beer!!!

thanks again for a great weekend

oh and thanks about the bachelor advertisement of Dan and I!!

Timmy
