Tuesday thoughts...

Having consulted with the Forum Oracles....winds may be 27 mph or more on Sat... (70 mph acc to Rich B)

Might need to move to plan B...

Plan B
Ian tests the fixtures & fittings in the Solent gales while peeps watch from the comfort of the pub...

BBQ goes ahead as planned. Start time 7.26 sharp as usual. Hail, wind, fire...nothing diverts Mr. Jackeen from turning the steaks...

Unique features of BBQ will include :

wearing of green things (green is an extremely flattering colour )- Whiteshoes is busy dyeing all his rugby shirts green if you're stuck...

Oirish food including a sort of a greek irish dish with spinach made by a couple of greek - irish friends of ours (fondly known as 'Bubble & Squeak')

*** NEW !!!Virtual BBQ element with broadband access throughout so far away peeps can chat ( & to keep hyperactive boat-mad lords out of trouble)

Banned words/ comments e.g. comparing engine sizes, slagging off hair colour or amount, ballroom dancing, real dolls, data backup, advantages of various servers, windbags, bathtubs, ensuites, unpainted skirting boards, dusting schedules in the shebeen, narrowboats (under review), wedding plans, black ribs (only joking), waver's boats (ditto), thongs, INTERNET trolls, anyone's nemesis and any variation of chuck or chuckle.

Please add to list if you have any further concerns,

Missus

(Just putting off going to work...)

The only reason Richard B said 70MPH is so that he can have the whole Solent to himself

At the moment getting top end F4 forecast (although I have been known to be wrong in the past )

Top banana will be going out in anything under a F9 because it's a big effort for us to get there. Southers wussies.

Ask Kevin about last time we towed down, wet is one wat to describe it. We did'nt make it past Calshot!

Room for one more out on the water Saturday?

Are the Southampton lot still meating at Calshot?

The Met Office are forecasting 30mph winds, so a nice force 5/6, should be fun.
