I've got a new prop to test...

A higher pitch, so hopefully a little more top end.

Won't be able to tow anything.....like say.....a banana boat.?

I'll be out Peter but down Lymington end. The big boat is in Yarmouth now so will be there at some stage. May also go up to Cowes if the weather is good. The tides have been big so going up to Hamble last week end was hard work in a modest wind against tide. Have you seen the new exclusion zones around Cowes by the way? Worth a look at the Cowes website.

Beautiful day today.....but very foggy on coast.

Sat does look the better day.

I'm launching from Warsash, dunno about times yet, I've got 8.51am for LW 17.23 HW.

Can you launch from Calshot at all states.?

I think LW springs needs to be avoided, but it is springs today the 1st and neaps on the 9th, so should be fine on Sat even at LW.

Clearly the forecasters are having great problems with this weekend...

I'm meant to be taking my RIB from Poole -> Portsmouth on Saturday, and then back to Poole on Monday, as I'm teaching Sea Cadets over on Whale Island for a couple of days.

Last night, the Solent/Portsmouth forecast for Sun/Mon was showing very strong winds, gusts up to 35kn. Lunchtime today, they predict a steady F3/4. This evening, they are back to strong gusts of up to 33kn!
