Sibfest 1/6/ 2013 Durdle Door

durdle door has to be a must see place on anyones sib list, we are going to attempt a run on june 1st or 2nd

we will be either camping or caravanning on a site to be decided, as i know a lot of people are already in the area i will probably book accordingly... suggestions are welcome

as far as i`m concerned the more people who turn out the better! thats sib rib or vib, with the only rule no one gets left behind

i`m sure it will be an ace weekend and look forward to peoples suggestions

sib fest 2013

Looking to join in,work commitments allowing ,missed last years attempt, we will have to camp as too far for a day trip ,Mike has suggested pebble bank as a possible site only about a mile away from slip, but happy to go with the majority.

Most certainly camping. But I am still weather dependant, tis a long way to go to camp in the rain, but I'm sure it will be sunny!

suggestions/advice from Avocet

the tides at Poole are awkward (no entry/exit to/from the marina between 10am and midday on 1 June).
Poole - Lulworth/Weymouth is quite a trip in a small boat (it's about an hour in mine at 30kts) and the races of the main headlands can be quite vicious at the wrong state of tide/wind.

Bingosucks may be better seting off from Portland or Weymouth. Also why not have lunch at Lulworth using the SIBs as tenders for the larger boats? Ample (free) anchoring in the cove and a good pub!

what do we think?
