Whereabouts exactly is the public slip please? Is it the one outside the arm of the marina? And.. Friday night... Do you plan to carsleep or is there a pitching place nearby? Looking forward to it, but some of the forecasts still looking a bit grim for Sunday😦

HI guys.. I hope to meet up with you on the Saturday night camp. Im boating around the Clyde area in at period but leaving earlier and hope to be around the Mull of Kintyre area when you meet so too far to go to Largs then return again. Weather is looking very good..Im sure you will manage across to Arran

HH..you know my plans and will try to contact you during Saturday to see where you are ..but if I don't make it..dont worry ..I tend to wander and my plans can change especially in good weather

Perhaps it is worth mentioning ... that if you guys wish a fire to sit around while drinking evening health drinks .. its best to take a bag of logs … available from garages etc.

There may be plenty driftwood around ..but as the season gets on..more and more kayakers .. boaters .. etc camp around these wild camp sites and all have fires .. so driftwood may be is short supply.

Midges are out in force now too .. so be prepared for them if the wind drops in the evening. Hope to see you all at the campsite although I definitely wont be at Largs for the meet up.

The Ribnet outing campsite two years ago ... I know some will recognise it.

It was a blustery wet day getting there and everyone was glad of a fire. Everyone enjoyed the experience and the banter
