Hi folks I am sorting out the fuel stop where you can get a refill on route but it is your responsibility for your craft and own safety but we do look out for each other . all are welcome but please note that we will be beaching around rocky shores so if you are planning on taking a small rib be aware that it could be tight in some places I am checking tides for Largs that weekend for time we will leave and return

Ian,

Two years ago when we launched from Largs most people used one of the free public slips and left cars in the public car park. My boat is a bit big for hand-launching on steep slopes or across soft ground you wouldnít take your car on, so I launched and recovered in the marina. It wasnít cheap, but the car and trailer are then stored on their site and itís a nicer slip with a pontoon beside it.

Hi H.H I'll be down at Largs on the Friday early afternoon . Probably spend the night in the tent in the vicinity ready for the Saturday jolly.

I think largs marina is about 24 quid to launch and recover or 170 ish for unlimited 12 month pass. Maybe a bit ott for a sib but no matter the tide nor weather you can recover in the marina slip if need be.

I will probably pay for the ease of marina slip launch/recovery and security of car and trailer parking whilst out and about. If I put s4b in on the Friday... does anyone have thoughts on leaving her in overnight or would I be better recovering and relaunching? Any handy camping spots nearby?
Looking forward to meeting up with last years friends and meeting new ones. Heading for Melfort later this week for a bit of cobweb clearance.
