Personally I think Sunart to Fort William in bad weather is RIB territory. Generally the bad weather comes on a SW wind, even on the lightest of winds coming out the Sound in to Linnhe can be adventurous.
If it's of any help I'd personally stay in Sunart for a day. It's a cracking loch with some good shelter and good fishing.

Looking forward to it. West coast of Mull was too adventurous for me. Around Arran and Bute etc should be great. Let’s hope the weather treats us well [emoji1303]

Well had a great two days with the guys but unfortunately it came to an end with major boat problems it was a slow and long trip back to the Launch site with two meter swells and a boat taking in water was not good I held the shore line all the way down Bute and the Clyde before crossing to largs the tide and wind had picked up by now and was two meter swells some long and some quite sharp together before I went for it I was going to ditch the boat had catch the ferry for car and trailer but took the decision to go for it got everything ready for bail out just in case it went wrong. I said to the guys just go to the next camp site and enjoy yourselves so it didn't ruin there trip by taking me back I will put more info about boat problems up once I have been to dealers so there is no come back for me before then and I hope next trip will go well on my new boat that I have just ordered HH

Trip was great. Weather wasn’t particularly great mist of the time but we all enjoyed the challenge . Shame about HH’s boat problems though.

The Bombards had a Suzuki 20 4 stroke and a Mariner 15 2 stroke. Both went extremely well.

I like the small rib. More stable. More comfortable and is still easy to manage. Feels safer in the bigger seas. Although it uses a lot more fuel with it being 2 stroke [emoji53]

Some pictures from the weekend away, not as good as Gazzago and Flying Dutchman video. Very enjoyable trip out,,,, best described as wet and windy with a bit of sun shine. Sorry have tried loading the pictures,,,,, all but 2 end up being upside down,,,,,
Think I got Nessie coming out from Loch Striven.
