Jeff, it's all about weight distribution - you can manage with three wheels just fine if you are careful ;-)

That's a shame Jeff. You would have enjoyed this trip lovely part of the country but I'm biased as I belong to that area 👍👍
Keep well and I'm sure you'll head north again soon.
Cheers
J

Moosecat, certainly. Details are still as per the pdf at the start of the thread. I believe everyone is planning to wild camp. The Gurnard and I have been discussing campsites this week as the wind is blowing the wrong way for plan A - if the forecast remains constant for the next day or two I will share plan B! 10am depart from Largs (either be there early or pay to use the marina slip if your boat is on a trailer). The way the tides work this weekend it makes sense to aim for recovery mid-late afternoon at largs.

We have quite a few more boats coming than last year. I'll file a "plan" with the CG again, but it would be useful if each boat could confirm via PM: (1) its VHF call sign (boat name) (2) your mobile number (3) boat type and colour. Just in case we loose anyone! Let me know if you aren't happy with me to share this info with all the participants.

PM inbound

I assume there are no parking restrictions or any admin restrictions shoreside we should worry about?
