Hmmm. I just looked at my copies of the paperwork. I actually checked box number six...
"6. Passage achievable in a Redbay."
It was the cheapest weather on offer

Like anyone would want to ?????
I'll hopefully make it up for a day or two, and take whatever weather is about - big family birthday means I'm probably going to miss ERR, so any out of port in a storm, eh?

Yeah - you'll all be able to breathe as I won't be starting my cold premix engine in the harbour on Saturday morning!

Mine's on a permanent sea trial!
Ok, joking aside I now have a two level plan:
1) day trip involving a sparrow waking start, going wherever the Scotrib crew go, and returning home at silly o'clock.
2) Somehow getting an overnight pass (crew #2 will be about 4 months by this point) and do 2 days with a vaguely leisurely return on the Sunday.
Watch this space. I do intend to dispose of some TCW3 whatever happens!
As a serious aside, what's the Scotrib cruising speed? I have managed 30 knots, on a cold start, and hope that the removal of the mercury switch from the deadman circuit will have cured the top end lethargy, but will a 21 Knot average (best I can guarantee at the mo) be a PITA? I am in a prop swapping mix right now.....
