Now we're getting into a trip for the slightly 'hardier' ribster. Friday is showing showers with a 12mph westerly which wont be too bad. Sat is improving, Sunday is looking good with a large orange UFO making an appearance.

All the forecasts I've seen are putting Friday & Saturday as raining, with Sunday good. Unless Fri & sat improve, I'll be giving this one a miss

Cancelled for this w/end due to forecast worsening and next week/weekend looking good. So, for those interested, we're gonna have another bash at it next weekend.

Not rubbing it in, but went over yesterday with Colin and crew (Pz - Scilly )
Cracking day
Met forecast was 3-4 occ5 Nw, Bouy data (Sevenstone Lightship 4` 6sec int)

Interesting return trip, wish I had the surf board with me

In and around the Islands, flat and sunny (Just like being in the Med)

We were out yesterday pm and eve and it was good. Unfortunately, tomorrow won't be with winds freshening to 4/5.
Day trips don't do it for me. It's a load of fuel and effort just to turn around and come back in my view. I like to savour being there not just the getting there.

A great time was had by all, at the end of the day, its a long wait for that "Perfect Weekend"
As for fuel, just over half a tank left, not bad for a days motoring
And for that savouring experience, we certainly had that, specially the setting of the St. Martin’s on the Isle with a wee drink

For you, half a tank gone for me is 110 ltrs, that's a hell of a dear 'wee drink'.
I agree, for Colin it''ll probably be the only way he'll get to see the Islands. Day trips are not for me, only my opinion.

You ever thought of something like this but on a larger scale

I'm alright for sailing dinghies etc thanks. No good to you either as you don't go anywhere when there's a breeze.

I meant as an auxiliary form of propulsion (You know reducing your G.F.P) or in your case (110litres)

I read somewhere recently, cant put my finger on where of someone making reference : I like to savour being there not just the getting there.

Occ` 5 On this particular route, I think is "Savouring enough"
