Sorry Bogi, but the latest forecast suggests that the low moves further north to bring strong winds to Iceland all over the weekend

We're planning to be around Cowes at 7am ish then following the race round the island. Will listen on Ch 77 if anyone wants to give us a shout. PM me if you want our mobile number.

Good luck to everyone racing tomorrow.

Hope to see some of you tomorrow.

Louise & Richard

We saw you heading west around Ventnor around midday.
Too busy to get to the VHF.
Did you continue west?
There were big seas off St Catherine's point, up to 2 metre waves, otherwise a great sail.

John

Hi John,

We spotted a couple of purple spinnakers but couldn't make out sail numbers - too busy hanging on!

Yes, we continued west, and because we were on the inshore side of the race yachts we got caught in the breaking waves off St Catherine's which was interesting, although the most difficult sea for us was the rolling head sea off Bembridge (would have been "following" for you).

Did you finish in a good position?
