For god's sake don't get him onto anything more vigorous or he'll get overexcited and pop

Assuming that we are going clockwise I would say that the Cowes leaving time would be 11am so the Portsmouth group would join us as we go past not long after

We'll be trailing down with family (less dog) Sat pm for this, and I need to find 2 interrelated things:
1) secure parking for the boat & trailer Sat and Sun night

2) convenient launch point closeish to the main RVs - this will be longest trip we'll have made, so don't want to add unnecessary mileage / time

We'll also need to find accomodation- I'm sure this will go round the other 2.

Not knowing the area (apart from some dinghy racing out Netley many years ago) I'd appreciate some advice.

Looking forward to this - should be a great event

Many thanks LT

More great news

We have had a donation from Bob Whittard

And...

A £25 donation + £6.25 gift aid from Nigel & Jo Jenkins with a message saying:

"Great cause and looking forward to a smooth trip round".

Total raised £1,105.00

Gift Aid £172.62

Grand Total = £1277.62

Also, Trevor G let PeterM drive his 8.6m Shearwater cabin rib Peter is going to donate £5 for every rib he has driven or gets to drive around the island. So if you see him let him take the wheel of your boat for a few minutes and together we will squeeze him for a few more pennies
