Round Ireland June 2009

We are planning a RIB Rally around Ireland at the beginning of June 2009 if anyone wants to join us.

We have 4 boats committed so far but wouldhope to grow that to at least 12 but more if possible.

The trip will be over 6-7 days starting and ending in Cork. We will head south then up the West Coast stopping along the way for "tea".

Anyone wishing to have some fun around Ireland should let us know. We hope to finalise the numbers before Christmas and then organise the detail in the New Year.

Regards,

Team Pulsar.

Ezgoing,
sound like a good idea altough Galway will be bonkers that week.

I had a look at the Race website and the Galway site promoting the race stopover.

See http://www.letsdoitgalway.com/ for all information on activities that week in Galway.

The Volvo Race boats arrive in Galway on the 22nd and depart again on the 6th. So there is a plenty of time to get to Galway and see the boats.

The June bank holiday is the 29th to the 1st of June which may or may not be a factor.

We will definitely aim to take in some part of the week to see the race and enjoy the craic.

Regards,

Team Pulsar

Organisation

Andy,
welcome aboard, although Stan reckons your a lightweight on the Stout front. :-)

Probably need to get some training in.

Planning a meet over the next few weeks so will keep you in the loop.

Cheers,

Team Pulsar.

Slow Boats

Andy,
spoke to Stan at the weekend.

He apologises for any remarks made about your drinking ability.

He did go on to tell me that if you were coming around you had better get your boat up to speed. Apparently very slow for some reason. :-)!

Regards,

Team Pulsar.
