PS I know it's early days yet, but what about diesel prices at the moment, both North and in the Republic/Eire? I know they will change before we go, but an indication would be useful.
Fuel prices tend to be cheaper in the South rather than the North. Applies to both Petrol and Diesel.

I know the coast of Donegal around the far North West corner quite well. That is from Arranmore to Malin Head. Quite a number of fuel places as well as stopovers.

Excellento chaps.
I shall be giving you all a call for info but, er, not yet, as I am in the middle of moving house and, as I am sure you realise, things are in a bit of a pickle right now!

I have now decided on the route which I will take.

I will be going clockwise.
I start from Peel on the Isle of Man.
Going via Dun Loaghaire, to pick up some fuel, down to Kilmore Quay.
Then, next day along to Baltimore and stay there.
From Baltimore up to Galway, to overnight.
Next day right up to Killibegs ( I hear there is a good hotel in Killibegs?).
From there right round to Bangor.
The next day, leaving Bangor, I will head south to Ardglass, or possibly, back to Dun Loaghaire IF the trip co-incides with David Manning's trip to the IOM. In that case I will join Dave's group (if I may?) in Conwy for the run up to Douglas.

I am very happy to meet up with any other ribsters on this trip which will take place somewhere around the end of May.

Well, we are off tomorrow morning.
From Peel, IOM we go over to Howth for fuel and then down to Kilmore Quay.
Our routing then takes us to Baltimore, Fenit possibly for fuel, Galway, Killibegs and then to either Ballycastle or Bangor before heading back to Peel.
Weather looks OK and we would be pleased to say hello to any ribnet members we might bump into (not literally!).

I'm in Galway and will be around the sea between May 29th - June 6th for the Volvo stopover.

Didn't launch my own boat but being kindly let jump aboard a Sunseeker Manhattan 52 What dates do you think you'll be in Galway?
