Sorry about that - that's what happens when you let the kids drive - especially when they aren't paying for the fuel!
But now you come to mention it - I had actually factored in the usual unexpected stops when setting the planned speed at 22 kts. In ffact we got to Ventnor harbour entrance at about 1 minute past 12 - which wasn't bad considering we left Cowes 10 mins later than planned and stopped a bit to watch the helicopter's escapades.

Looks like you boys had a great time!! went to Poole and met up with Peterm and chilled/raced around then up to Wareham to the pub great fun... love that Blue Ribcraft...

Oh dear, looks like a RIB hit the Varvassi wreck off the Needles. Ii was a fairly low tide by then (0.75m at Portsmouth low), but I still would hae thought there would have been enough water to clear the boilers.
Obviously not though, so may be a lesson for any of us that way at low tides.
