It really was great day, 10 ribs completed the round the island cruise and I hope they all enjoyed it as much as I did.

I could feel the magnetic pull of Alderney as we rounded St Catherine's and I couldn't help thinking it's not that far away, is it?.....

Jurassic Coast

Chapmans pool can be nice if it is calm or some north in the wind direction, Lulworth Cove has pubs so that is always a consideration! I'm sure there are lots of other places as well.

Might also be worth a ride to Weymouth to see what is happening for the Olympics.

As it happens there is a BIBOA cruise to Weymouth this weekend coming up (31st March / 1st April). If the weather is as good as the weekend just gone we'll be heading slowly down the Jurassic Coast on Saturday - meandering into the various coves and coming back again on Sunday.
It's not too late to join BIBOA and come along! I'm sure the Crown in Weymouth (where most people are staying) will still have rooms available - although Rick and I will be sleeping in Blue Ray's cabin in the Marina!

Trev,

I won't be able to make next weekend as I will be out of the country. Have a great time though.
