Round Britain Tomorrow

Hi All.

Tickled Pink and her crew of 2 will be setting off from Newcastle tomorrow for our Anti Clockwise Round Britain Trip. Not sure if we will meet anybody but below is our proposed ittineray, please come and say hi or give us a wave if our paths cross. Have a great Bank Holiday all and safe boating.

Fri: Newcastle/Scrabster
Sat: Scrabster/Oban
Sun: Oban/Dublin
Mon: Dublin/Falmouth
Tue: Falmouth/Ramsgate (via Solent)
Wed: Ramsgate/Whitby For beer and chips!!!
Thursday Whitby/home For beer but no chips...

I'd guess that the guys will leave Falmouth pretty early on Tues morning, Chris. I'd be up for it as long as it's not peeing down. Good photo opportunity.

Tickled Pink progress

This evening Tickled Pink made it to Kilmore Quay in the South East corner of Ireland. All set for the run to Cornwall tomorrow. Landfall probaly Falmouth.

What an experiance. Our route was knocked about by the weather, we were knocked about by the wind but after 8 days we got home, an amazing feeling of achievement and lots of great fun along the way.

She performed wonderfully. Had one minor hickup with a warning tell tale on the dash but that was resolved without issue, the boat and the crew took a beating that day and I think she was just sick of it all.
