What time will you be setting off from Southampton? I may be able to come out with my camera to take a few pics of you starting.

As you know, I haven't done a RB. However, I understand that it's fairly straightforward - carry lots of fuel (and jelly sweets), keep making progress and turn left at the important corners. Avoid tornadoes too...
I do not want to highjack this thread but for the record I am not grumpy and as we have never met and most probably never will no need for such comment.

I do record your comment on the 999 Thread and here you have kept silent . I would have expected you to be the first to point this out. As for my engine then this thread is not the place for any explanations.

Really we should have called it the Round England and Wales 2014, but REAW14 doesn't really roll off the tongue like the RB14.

Still - if we do the top bit of Scotland next year, we can call the series of cruises the Round UK and Ireland Trilogy - RUKAIT doesn't sound too bad!
If the vote goes the wrong way in September then next year you can call it Round Scotland and the 999 Challenge will become the very last Round Britain

Okay, I'll be out and about in the morning so I'll join you for a little while. Not sure if I can keep up with you lot for long, but I'll try and snap some photos.

Will you be on the usual channel 8?
