Fun Day!
We had a great day on Saturday but as one of the smallest ribs, we decided not to venture round Anglesey as we didn't fancy too much of a pasting. We found it quite hard going from Puffin to Conway, so on the way back we went around Puffin then back down the Straits and decided to call in at the Gazelle for a beer. The sea was a little choppy making it quite interesting trying to tie up. During the pratting-about process of securing the boat, Nick somehow ended up leaning rather precariously over the front of the boat (the tubes had been polished meticulously) trying to clip on a rope ...... and .... slipped off in spectacular style .. getting a good dunking!! All witnessed by a small crowd including some of the Ribnet guys (sorry not sure who you were). Sorry for laughing so much Nick - I must say you took it very well! After a beer and change of clothes, we headed back down the Straits and past Pilots Cove for a while before heading back.
Thanks to Humber Paul, Tim and Linda, Chris Seddon and all those involved in organising the event for their efforts to bring together what was a great day. It was good to get together with some of the Ribnetters we've not met before. Look forward to the next one.

Photo's and videos
Hi all,
We've finally found time to get our photos uploaded and video edited and online. I've linked to Dropbox for the photos and YouTube for the video below.

It was a fantastic day and first rib.net event for us, a big thanks to everyone in the community who played a part in organising.
The photos and video are pretty random, and taken on a half decent Sony compact still camera with HD video or a GoPro Hero 3. Apologies if I didn't get a shot of your boat, or I did get a shot and you'd rather I hadn't!
If anyone is interested, we started the day carrying about 375L of fuel and finished with about 250L in the tank. Given the time we were on the water and the distance we covered at let's say a less than optimal cruising speed, we were pretty happy with the consumption.

Greg, the photos are great and I like the two shots of our Revenger leaving Conwy, we were right behind you coming out of the marina. I can't view the video as yet, but that's probably just the poor connection here, we're still in caernarfon  125ltrs with 300hp isn't bad going for the conditions, although I bet you had fun on the leg from Sth Stack back to Caernarfon give us a shout if you're over this way again, there's loads to do, a cruise to Ty Coch is a must, and on down to Bardsey is a great day out

Sure, the Scotseats are pretty good. Just a shame we only have 2 of them! As youngest family member in the boat that day, I was relegated to the bench!!! Until I stood up for a while during a blast past South Stack and we lost the fill in cushion! Glad we were past the rougher stuff by then!

It was a client of mine. His wife is currently being helped by Macmillan and he wanted to thank me in terms of work. I told him about our endeavors and it seemed the most fitting. He knows it went through twice but said Macmilan are welcome.
