Well we came straight out from Ty Calch via the outer mark at Caernarfon to meet you guys at Ty Coch. The only difference between our route and yours (I think) was a short detour to Pirates Cove. We did 38 nautical on Fri and used about 40 litres.

Whatever it was, I thought you might have a hole in your tank when you said 55! Glad you've managed to make sense of it. Look forward to running with you in the future.

Great work.

That's the third person to say it was 82nm. Which is 95m. I'd have anticipated > 100 but the gps don't lie!

Our fuel consumption is poor with dragging tubes. 1.35L p/m

Great to hear so much money was raised from a fun day.
Our GPS recorded 83nm but that was from our home beach near Holyhead back to the same spot so 82nm sounds about right.
We used 57L on a 90HP Suzuki which was the worst consumption we have recorded at 6.6 nmpg. (But my son was at the helm). Never mind, it was a great day with some challenges from Puffin onwards (both ways!). This is .86 L p/m. (nautical).

Our Mac flag is proudly flying still.

Oh, it's a little raspberry pi computer with a camera then some free software called ImageMagick taking info from a number of sources and plonked on the image taken out of the window.

3) Dip the tank to check how full it actually is rather than use an uneducated guess!

Disappointing not to make it round but listening to reports of conditions between Point Lynas and Carmel Head, maybe Lynn would have been battering my barnet from the back seat anyway!
It's a pity that we didn't spot that you had concerns whilst in Conwy - We had 125 litres on Baby Blue in easily transferrable tanks. We knew we would probably have 40 spare even with all the usual worst case calculations. In fact we still had 70 litres spare when we got back.
Still - it means you'll have to do next year as well now!

This great news keeps coming! We have had a £10 donation plus £2.50 Gift Aid from Will (Silverfox) with a message to say:

"donation on behalf of Will (Silverfox) he gave me £10 on the beach at Ty Coch on Friday but I forgot to put it in the tin "

Awesome beach donation

Thanks to everyone who helped to arrange a excellent cruise and day out. I have wanted to go round for the last 3 years and would never have had the bottle to go alone. Hopefully it will do some good and raise more awareness for such a good cause.

I know it's a sad request but does anyone have a photo or video clip of my rib moving. It's a yellow 6mtr tohatsu one design. Anything will do even if it's just in the background. I was on my own on Saturday and have never seen it moving. Thanks Simon

Just like to say a big THANKS to everyone at the cruise on Saturday, met some nice people, and enjoyed ourselves, although we broke off going to Conway, it was very well organised, Straits were magnificent (we will be back).

Chris Seddon, I have no idea how you know what boat goes with what trailer, hats off to you sir.
