Do you have to use a RIB or will any boat be welcome?

You are more than welcome to join although its not a race! I am hoping that it will be a leisurely cruise and not WOT all the way round. Having said that you could always challenge Rocky and get yourself a World Record as fastest around Anglesey! I myself will be cruising.

It is open to anybody you just need to be responsible for your own safety. There is no official register but I will keep the info up to date on here and on Facebook (if I can get my head around FB). It is also not limited to Ribs

I have had a quick tot up of the numbers who said that they are up for it and it is about 30. The idea is to make a collection for a good cause whilst enjoying ourselves.

I am also planning to organise a meal on the Saturday evening for anyone who is interested. Hope you can join us.

Nick

I have to say that I'm so made up that this is happening again and for Macmillan too

I have to give a talk to a load of Macmillan Nurses on Tuesday so this and the last Round Anglesey will all be part of the talk as well as all the other stuff that we've done.

I promise I'll do my best to make this

My talk on Tuesday will also be the first time that I have ever met a Mac Nurse

Well done you lot

It looks as though there will be a good turnout with 30 ribs (Ribnet & FB) planning to run round Anglesey on the Saturday.

On the Saturday evening I was trying to find somewhere for us to get together, have a drink and something to eat. It is the Food Festival in Caernarfon that weekend so it could prove a little difficult finding a suitable venue.

I have a venue in mind for 45 with a bar and they are able to serve a buffet type meal. However given the number of ribs it would seem too small.

I know it is a bit early but how many will be interested in getting together on the Saturday evening? If it is likely to be more than 45 I will look for somewhere else.

Hoping I can also make it down to join you for this guys. After launching on the straits a few weeks ago for the first time, i'm quite keen on going all the way around, hopefully better conditions next time, as last time it was brutal in the chop.

Don't think you will ever get round without hitting THE CHOP at some point that's what makes it a great trip ... One side of the island can be flat the other side will be like a roller coaster

Festa I missed it too cause it did not happen last year which was a shame as previous years were a good crack as well as being a bit choppy😀.

Hopefully the weather will be a bit better mid May ☀️
